Makaris ‘Not Worried About Labour’ for $329m Austral Precinct

The Makari brothers’ 445-home mixed-use project at Austral is on exhibition, with three 15-storey towers across two buildings on show.

While the estimated development cost attached is $329 million, Roy Makari told The Urban Developer that he expects a final bill closer to $250 million.

Makari said that he’s vying to be among the first to supply housing to a jobs and population boom as the Western Sydney International Airport opens, with cargo flights beginning from July 27 and passengers from October 25.
